About the photographer:
Born in Barcelona and an autodidact, Carlota Guererro first started taking photographs as a young teenager. These days, she is known combining photography and filmmaking with her own art direction and choreography.
Her first major commission was a collaboration with singer-songwriter Solange Knowles on the artwork and art direction for the videos on the singer’s acclaimed “A Seat at the Table” album. More recently, she teamed up with poet Rupi Kaur, art directing a live poetry reading performance in New York in 2017.
