Japanese native Sky Brown is a force of nature, already inspiring a entire generation of kids. At just 9 years old, she encourages girls around the world to follow their dreams, travels to disadvantaged communities, spreading powerful messages.

She's not afraid of anything, skates and surfs as a professional athlete, and already aims for Tokyo 2020 where skateboarding will be making its Olympic début.

She and her 6-year old brother Ocean, are known as the "Awesome Kids." A well-deserved moniker for these two prodigies.

Enjoy this 4-foot tall badass's zest for life through the following showcase of quotes, images and videos from Venice Beach, California, and beyond.

Since Sky was little she used Skateboarding to release her emotions, a few tricks, but a thousand feelings behind each one. The other things that Skateboarding has given Sky is just a byproduct of doing something she really, really loves.

The more you get scared, the more exciting it is. I love skating because it makes me feel free.

Her mantra: “Follow your dreams, believe in yourself and never give up!”

In the following video, Sky explains why she wants to compete for Japan at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

I’ll be maybe like 12 or something. I think it will be awesome. It’s mostly about having fun — it will be so cool if I win though! But for me I’d like to go in there and just have fun, just be me.

This video was shot in Cambodia where Sky Brown went for a journey, spreading an empowerment message through skateboarding.

With Skateistan (a German charity organization), she went to Indochina Starfish Foundation, a place dedicated to freedom, education and health to meet this community of children, hoping to make an impact.

Hope... Sometimes that’s all you have, when you have nothing else. But if you have it, you have Everything.
