Otium's layered raw vegan brownie is the healthful and cozy café's signature dessert, and a greatest hit among the regulars. 


And they were sweet enough to share the recipe with us...


Ingredients of the 1st layer:
200g Almonds
425g Dates, pitted and quartered
60g Raw Cocoa Powder
Pinch of Salt 

Mix all ingredients in a blender or Magimix until everything is fully combined.
Line a baking dish with plastic wrap and press the mixture into the dish making one even layer. Place in the refrigerator while making the second mixture. 

Ingredients of the 2nd layer:
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Maple Syrup
280 Coconut Flakes or Shredded Coconut
4 tbsp Coconut Milk

Repeat the same procedure as for the first layer.
Separate the mixture into two parts.
With the first part, add 1 tsp of spirulina into the mixture and combine again in the blender.
Spread evenly onto the chocolate layer.
Spread the last part of the coconut mixture onto the spirulina mixture.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
