EDWINA TOPS ALEXANDER WINS THE HERMÈS GRAND PRIX
This weekend, the most elegant show jumping was taking place in Paris for the 8th time! The Saut Hermès was taking over the Grand Palais.
The final Grand Prix of this CSI 5* competition - The Grand Prix Hermès - was particularly difficult and technical and 13 couples - on the 47 at the start - were still part of the challenge after the first round. Only 3 finalists: Bertram Allen and his mare Molly Malone, the French rider Pénélope Leprévost and her stallion Vagabond de la Pomme, and the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander and her mare California, did a clear round and reached out to the jump-off round.
And if we dreamt of a French victory for Pénélope Leprévost, the cup finally went to Edwina Tops Alexander, with a round in 41.36'. And, still, we are very happy to celebrate a great woman and rider here!
